Jeffrey N. Mahoney is a Partner at Neikirk, Mahoney & Co., PLLC. Mr. Mahoney is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Kentucky. Including experience gained as an intern during college, Mr. Mahoney has over 10 years of public accounting experience.

Prior to joining Neikirk, Mahoney & Co., PLLC, Mr. Mahoney worked in public accounting at one of the "Big Four" accounting firms. During his tenure in "Big Four" practice Mr. Mahoney gained experience in assurance services (i.e. audit, review, and compilation services) and tax compliance and consulting.

Mr. Mahoney joined Neikirk, Mahoney & Co., PLLC in December 2003 in order to pursue a juris doctorate from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law via their part-time evening program. Mr. Mahoney will complete his legal education in December 2009 and plans to sit for the bar exam in July 2010. Upon successful completion of the bar exam Mr. Mahoney plans to continue to service clients from an accounting standpoint while developing a legal career that compliments his clients needs.
